… the founder of the company. Robert brings his experience from many different areas, industries and companies with him. The common denominator in his work has always been his willingness to find new ways to solving old problems. He also has a strong focus on seeing the whole picture in the right light.

Robert began his career at Alfa Laval in Lund, Sweden, working in the plant engineering department with designing, engineering and calculating new plants for different food factories, and later moving on to being responsible for introducing and developing solutions for computer aided design systems, CAD, for all engineers at the company. These solutions were implemented in all market companies around the world. 

After 10 years of working in the industry sector Robert decided to start working for Intentia, where he became responsible for building a new concept reporting to top management. Intentia is a multinational software company, where Robert held a position as working Director of Business Development with a focus on establishing new application areas and businesses. He was responsible for designing the new concept from day one, and organized the resources and work with sales and customer activities. This task included all phases from concept, marketing, sales, implementation and customer service. The result was the concept and market focus for the integration platform called ICE, Intentia Corporate Exchange.

Robert’s experiences from the manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on implementing new concepts and working methods in the international organization structure, are very useful for innovative companies developing their businesses. This includes all the steps from design, development, training and implementation of business critical systems for increased collaboration and efficiency inside the complete organization towards the customers.

Robert has also been responsible for the group consolidation and finance solution at corporation finance at Alfa Laval. One of his projects and responsibilities was to implement a completely new process for the corporate consolidation for the whole Alfa Laval Group. The final result was a highly automated reporting, consolidation and management information solution. The solution includes a reporting system, used for monthly reporting, budgeting, intra-group matching and annual reporting. Today, this software is one of the applications in the Great Plains Software offering.

 

Robert’s academic degrees are in the industrial area with a focus on production, finance and computer science. During his time at Tetra Laval he was selected for a number of international management trainings.
